These were taken with my cell phone camera. I grouped them together because of the distinct role light plays in each of them.

First two photos, starting with the cat: subjects are spotlighted like film stars in the studio even though they are in perfectly ordinary settings

Third & fourth photos: artificial light casts an ambiguous glow on the subjects

Last two photos: natural light as their focal point; the difference between morning and evening light
